2. Working process

The working process of the screw dehydrator can be divided into four stages: feeding, separating, pressing and discharging.


Feeding: Wet solid matter is fed into the screw host of the screw dehydrator through the feeding device.


Separation: The screw shaft inside the screw host starts to rotate, and the screw blades push the solid matter towards the outlet. During this process, due to centrifugal force and filter pressure, solids and liquids are gradually separated, solid particles are squeezed to the outlet end of the screw shaft, and water flows out through the filter.


Squeeze: As the solid material advances, the gap between the spiral blades gradually decreases, so that the solid material is subjected to greater extrusion force, further reducing the moisture content in it.


Discharging: After a series of extrusion, the solid matter is finally discharged out of the screw dehydrator, and the water flows out of the screw main machine through the filter, finally achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.


3. Application

Spiral dehydrator has important application value in many fields:


Environmental protection field: In sewage treatment plants, screw dehydrators are often used to remove water from sludge, thereby reducing waste volume and facilitating subsequent treatment and disposal.


Chemical industry: The slurry produced in the chemical process usually requires solid-liquid separation, and the screw dehydrator can efficiently complete this task.


Food processing: In the process of food processing, if juice is produced, the screw dehydrator can be used to separate the juice from the slurry and improve the purity of the product.
